• It is estimated that 83% of joint disorders is OA of the knee.

• It is characterized by Joint Pain and Stiffness and Functional Limitations.

• It occurs most often in people 50 years of age and older, although it may

          occur in younger people.​

• It is the leading cause of disability in individuals older than 70 years.

• For the older population, OA is associated with a significant decline in

          function and causes a higher rate of disability than any other chronic condition,
